Women of the word
The Women's Ministry of Calvary Temple seeks to glorify Jesus Christ in our lives and families. We offer many opportunities to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." 2 Peter 3:18
We offer a Tuesday morning study on Pleasing God by Kay Smith. This will begin on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 and meets every Tuesday from 9:30-11am. Childcare is provided. We do not meet the first Tuesday of every month. Books and journals are available for purchase in the lobby. The study will conclude in February 2024.
We also offer a Wednesday evening bible study through the books of II Samuel and I Chronicles. We will meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8pm, except the first Wednesday of each month. The study will begin September 10th, 2025. Books are available for purchase in the lobby. Childcare is provided and the youth group meets at the same time. So there is a place for everyone!
The ladies also meet for a time of prayer every Monday morning at 9am. All ladies are welcome. Childcare is not provided, but children are welcome to attend.
We also offer special opportunites and events for fellowship throughout the year, including day hikes, retreats, conferences and our annual Christmas Luncheon.
